National Tool Hire January Review

In January 2023, we endured particularly cold and wet weather that unfortunately coincided with soaring energy costs admid a cost of living crisis for many across the country. Despite the challenges, National Tool Hire were lucky enough to record growth on last year. We don't take the achievement lightly when there are so many people and businesses sadly struggling at this time of year and during the current economy, and are grateful to all our customers and staff. The increased level of trade does, however, give us some insight on how there is still a large portion of the country powering on, which is a little ray of light and hopefully a sign things will get better. Fingers crossed!

We saw a great mix of products popular with trade and DIY customers this month. We can see how the weather influenced habits as dehumidifiers crept into 7th spot. The only notable absence from the top ten is heaters, which were massively popular in December and have only missed out in January due the rate of hire extensions from the previous month!
