    Course Details

Safe working environments are a fundamental right and essential for all workers. Cat & Genny training provides individuals with a working understanding and knowledge of using cable avoidance tools and signal generators on-site, and their importance. The course equips you with the competency to avoid danger from underground services to HSG47 standards.

This CAT & Genny Awareness training course is for anyone operating cat and genny equipment, and those involved in commissioning, planning, managing, and carrying out work on or near underground services. It educates you about the dangers that exist when working in these areas, and how to reduce the risk to health and safety, and the indirect results of damage to the services.

The course is a highly engaging session, split into theory and practical elements, including presentations, case studies, assignments, and demonstrations. Each section will cover planning work, locating and identifying buried services, and safe excavation.

We hold all courses at one of our cooperating training centres. However, we can provide this training at your premises or on-site for larger groups.
