Rotavator Hire

Rotavators, cultivators & tillers

Our rotavators, cultivators, and rototillers are some of the most popular items in our hire fleet. These machines break up, aerate, and turn earth and soil. They prepare for laying turf, planting flowers, growing vegetables, and more. We have light-duty, medium-duty, and heavy-duty rotavators available. You can hire the most suitable unit for working on a small flower bed, garden border, allotment, field, or farmland. Whilst using a rotavator, especially in a high throttle setting, you should wear PPE. We recommend a hard hat with a protective visor, solid work boots (without laces) as safety footwear, and ear defenders to subdue to noise levels.

Light-duty tillers

Light duty garden rotavators offer reliable and robust performance. They feature a heavy-duty chaincase and adjustable handlebars, and a large, rugged wheel. These cultivators combine performance with convenience. The ease of use allows novices to get to grips with the equipment in no time. These tillers also have full-width tine guards that prevent debris from churning up and firing at you for your safety.

Medium-duty rotavators

Medium duty rotavators are suitable for tough ground. They feature adjustable handlebars and large, rugged wheels. These rotavators have full-width tine guards for user safety.

Heavy-duty cultivators

Heavy-duty rotavators are for very tough ground. They have a 13hp engine, speed drive control, adjustable handlebars and large, rugged wheels. You can control these rotavators as you need to, despite their large size. For your safety, these rotavators have full-width tine guards and a safety clutch that stops the tines and wheels in an instant.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.

If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.

YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.

If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
