The Rigid 258XL is a robust and professional displacement pipe cutting machine, designed for cutting large steel pipes 200mm to 300mm in diameter. This hydraulic pipe cutter is ideal for use on site or in the workshop. It displaces material rather than cutting straight through it, which means accurate and precise square cuts every time. The pipe is placed on the roller bed and the hydraulic foot pump is used to lower the blade down and apply pressure on to the pipe. The Ridgid 700 Power Drive (available separately) is used to drive the cutting blade. As the blade engages, it causes the pipe to turn on the roller bed, ensuring precise and consistent displacement cutting all the way around the pipe. The Ridgid 258XL pipe cutter produces no dust or sparks and it quickly cuts through pipe with minimal burr.
