Random orbital sanders are ideal for refinishing a range of wooden surfaces. They are suitable for trade and DIY, for sanding wood, metal, plastic, and polishing finishing coats. Random orbit sanders utilise a dual action that simultaneously spins and vibrates a round sanding disk while moving it in an unpredictable elliptical motion. The pads oscillate off-centre using a ball-bearing mechanism. This action allows random orbital sanders to remove more material from surfaces without creating a distinct pattern.

These electric random orbit sanders are extremely compact and lightweight. They also have ergonomic soft grips, making them comfortable to handle and easy to control. These sanders have 123mm sanding pads that perform 12000 orbits per minute. The high-powered motors deliver constant speed under load for heavy-duty applications. These 110v random orbital sanders are versatile, compatible with hook and loop type paper, and featuring an integrated dust collection system.

You must wear appropriate safety equipment whilst using an orbital sander, such as heavy-duty working gloves to protect your hands, as well as eye protection and a dust mask to avoid injuries caused by the dust produced when sanding. You can book a random orbital sander hire online or over the phone & collect the machine from your local store at the start of the hire, or we can deliver to you. We can also supply sanding sheets for these machines in a range of grits - coarse P40 grit, medium P80 grit and fine P120 grit. You can add these to your order during checkout.
