How To Use A Carpet Cleaner

You can get professional carpet clean results. The cleaning process with a machine is easy. They allow anyone to give their carpets a deep and thorough clean.

Begin by connecting the cleaning wand to one end of the supplied hose and connect the other end to the machine. Fill the clean water tank with warm water and a drop of carpet cleaning shampoo. Plug the machine in and switch it on. Then, start at the far end of the room and work towards the door. Place the end of the cleaning wand onto the carpet and pull down on the spray trigger. Spray the carpet with the cleaning solution while dragging the cleaning wand backwards along the carpet, avoiding scrubbing with the nozzle. This action will allow the machine to spray the carpet and vacuum the solution back up and into the dirty water tank. You can then vacuum over the same area again if necessary, without pulling the spray trigger to remove any excess liquid from the carpet.

You should tackle the carpet in straight strips. Work from one end of the room to the other, then turn around and complete another strip next to the strip you have already cleaned.

Always read available instructions before you start cleaning carpets. It is best to work when you can leave the area vacant for between 5 – 12 hours.
