Our 110v dehumidifiers work by drawing in air, and passing it through a filter and over some cold coils. The cold coils cause the air to reach dew point so that the moisture becomes water droplets then can be removed. The dry air is then reheated to room temperature and blown back out of the dehumidifier. These dehumidifiers dramatically reduce drying times of carpets  after you have used a cleaning machine. They ensure that all clean surfaces are completely dry so that they can be used, and helps to avoid any damp smells, so they are fresher for longer.
