Boxing Ring Tower Hire

Link Towers for Access to Large Areas at Height

Boxing ring towers provide an extended platform when it is needed for working at height. They are ideal for long-duration jobs like plastering, drylining, painting and decorating, installation, and fixing. Link towers allow you to work on large areas like ceilings in a safe and comfortable way. As there is more space to work, you can keep tools and equipment on the tower, so you do not need to clib down as often.

Link towers are similar to standard alloy scaffolding. You assemble them using frames, horizontal and diagonal braces, stabilisers, trap platforms, wheels, and a toeboard set. Adjustable locking castors allow the tower to be moved around site and erected on slightly uneven ground. You cannot move towers with anything or anyone on the platform.

The platforms are non slip ply, and there are 1.1m guardrails that surround the working area. The rails minimise the risk of falling. The toeboard set prevents items falling off the side of the tower. The frames and braces are from 2mm thick, 48mm diameter ribbed aluminium alloy tubing. These components are fully compatible with scaffolding systems, and provide superior strength.

Trapdoors can be fitted at various points on the platform to allow personnel to enter and exit the tower in a safe way at all times. The 3T (Through The Trapdoor) method prevents you from climbing on the outside of the scaffolding.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.

If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.

YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.

If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
