Our sliding compound mitre saws offer a practical and effective table-top sawing solution for light construction work and DIY jobs. These saws have a double bar sliding mechanism that aids extremely smooth and precise cutting so that you can give your work the most accurate and professional finish. The tilting system allows angled cuts up to 45° both left and right, so these sliding compound mitre saws are ideal for creating mitre and bevel joints.

These sliding mitre saws have a soft start feature for smooth operation straight away. They also have constant speed control to maintain continuous blade rotation even when under load. The ergonomic handle has an integrated switch trigger with a lock-off button for safety. The handle allows for easy control over the lever arm.

Take care whilst using the saw – keep away from the blade whilst the saw is plugged into a power supply, and do not use it if you do not feel confident. Book a sliding compound mitre saw hire online or over the phone and then collect the saw from your local store at the start of the hire, or we can deliver it to you. You must wear appropriate protective equipment whilst using the saw – including protective goggles, heavy-duty working gloves, a dust mask and ear defenders.

Please note: Our mitre saws are 110v pieces of equipment. You will need a transformer, and 110v extension lead to use a mitre saw with a 240v domestic power supply. You can add a transformer and extension lead to your order during checkout if required.
