Petrol wood chippers can shred branches up to 3" (75mm) in diameter. They are quick and efficient machines. They allow cost-effective tree shredding, garden clearing, and waste disposal. These garden shredders are also robust and reliable. They have steel construction and feature 27 hardened blades. The blades pulverise branches down into small chips that average 9mm. You can use wood chips for compost or you can throw them away. Garden chippers are ideal for clearing, renovation, landscaping, and after storms.

These garden shredders can chip 3/4 tonnes of garden waste per hour. They run all day with low running costs, maximising your productivity. The gravity feed design makes loading easy. The positive blade feed offers exceptional infeed grip for ease of operation. To feed material through automatically, the chipper uses sharp blades on the feed rollers and chipper rotor. So, you can pop materials into the hopper, and the mechanism will pull it all through. These blades need to remain sharp to work properly. If you insert muddy wood through the feeder, you can blunt the blade edges. You should also avoid putting other materials through, like roots, potted plants, bricks, stones, or metal.

These wood shredders are professional machines but are practical and convenient. They also have a compact profile. You can also remove the side chute to reduce the width further. The size is ideal for storage and transportation. These chippers are also portable, as you can tilt them on their wheels to move them around with ease.

Heavy-duty wood chippers are valuable machines with many moving parts. So, as a precaution, we follow up on all online bookings with a call back to complete a secure ID check and take a deposit of £500. After a successful off-hire and inspection, we return all refunds to our customers.

Please note: These heavy duty garden shredders are for chipping dry branches up to 3" (75mm) in diameter. You cannot use them to chip branches less than 5mm in diameter. You should trim twisted and awkward branches before you chip them. This will prevent dangerous thrashing in the feed funnel. You should not put wet branches, greenery, and brambles through the chipper. They can lead to jamming. You should never feed conifers and leylandii into this machine.
