Efficient 110v HDPE welder
The Rems SSM 315RF HDPE butt fusion welder allows you to complete quick and reliable fusion of pipe butts for sanitary installations, plumbing installations, chimney reconstruction with HDPE, PDVF, and other plastic pipes. It is suitable for butt welding of Valsir, AKatherm, Coes & Wavisolo HDPE pipework in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
This butt fusion welding machine can join the pipes that will be used for toilets, sinks, baths, and showers, plus many other vital installations. It has the capacity to join plastic pipes that are between 90mm to 315mm in diameter. As it is a lightweight appliance with an innovative design that allows it to be folded and packed away, it is extremely portable and can be carried around to different worksites. It is also ideal to set up in workshops and garages.
This convenient butt fusion welding machine features a heating element that is suitable for plastics welding according to DVS, an electronic temperature control, a facing cutter unit, a quick clamping device that can also be used for angular branches, and pipe supports. These features make the appliance easy to use so you can produce accurate and professional butt weld joints quickly. The plastic pipe is firmly held in place whilst the fusion hot plate quickly heats up the end of each section. The pipe sections are then forced together so that they fuse as they cool down, creating a solid, reliable butt weld joint.
