The equipment included in our floor sanding package combines perfectly to give you everything you need to refurbish tired floors. The package enables you to sand down old, worn wooden floorboards, removing imperfections, old varnish, paint, scuffs, and stains, unveiling a beautiful, fresh layer below. The package allows you to get your wooden floorboards looking like new, ready for a new coat of varnish in no time at all. You can use them on most surface types, including parquet and block wooden floors.

The electric drum sander allows you to cover large wooden floorboards in the home, in halls, corridors and more – including outdoor decking. You use the edging sander to finish closer up the edges, leaving just a 10-15mm gap from the skirting. The floor edging sander allows you to finish the job properly for a high quality, professional finish.

Hiring both of these machines together in our package deal gets you discounted rates on trade prices, offering excellent value for money! You can book online, and then collect from your local store, or we can deliver right to your door, free of charge.

We can supply sanding sheets, sanding discs, and disposable dust collection bags. You can add these to your order during checkout. We recommend using at least three of each grit of sanding sheet and at least two dust bags per room, per machine. Please ensure that the sanding plate that holds down the sanding sheet is fully screwed before operating the machine. Failure to do so can result in damage to the equipment or your floors.

What is included in the Floor and Edging Package?

We offer a range of sanding sheets, discs, dust bags, extension cables, and personal protection packs, which you can add to your order either via the website checkout page or by contacting LiveChat.

How many sanding sheets/discs do I require?

We generally recommend purchasing THREE of each grade of sanding sheet and disc, per room you are sanding. (Sanding sheets are for the sanding drum and sanding discs are for the edging sander). This is based on an average sized room in a house. You can add sanding sheets and discs to your order during checkout.

Why hire the package rather than separate machines?

Our electric drum sander is great for sanding open areas of floorboards and decking. However, it is too large to get right up to the edges of rooms. Our floor edging sander is specially designed for this job. Our sander package is designed to be convenient for you and to save you money; as having both machines allows you to get the job done properly, and the floor sander package is cheaper than hiring both machines separately!

Yes! We offer nationwide delivery and collection for FREE! You can opt for delivery and collection when booking a hire online or over the phone.

Can I collect from store?

Yes! Both pieces of equipment can fit into most cars and vans, especially if you collapse the rear seats. However, to avoid disappointment, please ensure that you check the size of your car boot against the dimensions of our machines.
