We have electric log splitters available for hire nationwide. These machines are Iris hydraulic 240v log splitters. They are easy to use, and they allow you to split large volumes of logs with minimal time and effort. Splitting logs and trunks makes them much more manageable to move around and store for firewood or to use for other purposes.

These electric log splitters have a heavy-duty splitting bed and simple two lever control for fast, efficient and straightforward log splitting. They also have an adjustable wedge to accommodate logs of different sizes up to 500mm, and a two speed hydraulic cylinder for increased speed depending on the type of wood you want to split. With a cycle time of 14 seconds, you can chop vast quantities of wood in no time.

Using a wood splitter is simple and straightforward. Place the wood on to the splitter bed, pull the lever, and the hydraulic arm harnesses its 8 tonnes of power to push the log up against the splitting blade and efficiently break it into two separate pieces. Once the log has been split, the hydraulic arm re-sets and is ready to go again.

Our electric hydraulic log splitters are 240v pieces of equipment, so they can be used at home by DIY users and plugged into a domestic 240v mains plug socket.
