The Husqvarna DM 230 medium duty diamond core drill included in this package is a powerful and reliable piece of core drilling equipment. Featuring a robust 3 speed motor, this medium duty core drill is capable of drilling cores up to 150mm in diameter when mounted on the stand. The Husqvarna DM 230 diamond core drill has a range of high quality features which allow it to perform to the highest standards on site. A water cooled gearbox helps to extend the life of the gearbox and gaskets, and provides optimal drilling performance when working with tough materials. Softstart is an innovative feature which uses an electronic current limiter to start drilling slowly when the trigger is pulled, and then increase the speed two seconds later. This helps to protect the drill from overloading and provides clean and accurate core drilling. This diamond core drill also has Husqvarna's Elgard feature, which provides electronic overload protection by making the drill pulsate to indicate to the operator when the machine is overloaded. If the load is not reduced then the motor will shut off to protect the drill.

This means that the stand can be set up for drilling into walls, floors or ceilings. This diamond core drill stand is also a lightweight and convenient piece of equipment. It can be transported without a fuss, carried to wherever it is needed on site, and set up quickly and easily. Featuring a strong and robust carriage with guide rollers, this drill stand holds the diamond core drill firmly in place and lowers it to drill into the material smoothly and safely. The integrated vacuum base allows you to connect the stand to a dust removal vacuum unit very easily. This improves safety on site and reduces the amount of mess created while drilling.
