This powered wheel wash is compact and ergonomic, with a modulated design. You can use it for cleaning vehicle wheels and chassis in low-volume traffic work zones with confined or limited space. It is ideal for urban developments where traditional wheel wash solutions cannot fit and where preventing the spread of dirt is a legislative requirement.
As wheels pass through the unit, the rumble bars agitate the tyre treads, which are cleaned by high-pressure horizontal spray jets with automatic sensors. The jets ensure a 360-degree clean of standard tipper lorry tyres. You can travelling through the unit slowly for a more thorough clean. This compact wheel washer is suitable for 8-wheel tipper lorries and concrete trucks without under-run bars. Ramp extensions are available for lower configurations.
You can deploy this wheel washer quickly and easily, without the need for movement orders. It is delivered to any site with a minimum of fuss, and you can transport it around with ease. You can plug the submersible pump unit into an existing three-phase supply or a 10KVA 3-phase diesel-powered generator. You need a 25mm water supply to give the unit its initial fill and to maintain the water level during use. There is not much water waste, as water is recirculated from the containing sump underneath the tracks.
If you need to use this washer as a wheel bath, you can recess it into the ground 325mm for a flush fit application. If you cannot dig into the ground, you can elevate the tracks 325mm above ground with 3-metre rumble ramps.
