We have 80mm petrol centrifugal pump hire available nationwide. Centrifugal pumps are robust water pumps designed for pumping clear and black water out of a range of areas - such as flooded foundations on building sites, drains and ponds. These pumps work by using the rotational energy of a motor to induce a flow of water. They are designed to be placed away from the flooded area and they draw the water out of the flooded area using a suction hose, and deposit the water away from the area with a layflat delivery hose.

These dirty water pumps are self-priming pumps, powered by a tough and reliable Honda 4 stroke engine. They have carbon ceramic mechanical seals and cast iron volutes and impellers for increased resistance to wear, durability and strength. The pump is housed within a protective tubular steel frame with anti vibration mounts. This helps to protect the pump from bumps on site and the effects of vibration. It also makes the pump easier to carry around a site.

Please note: Our petrol centrifugal pumps have a maximum suction lift of 8 metres when primed, however 6 metres or less is recommended. These pumps must never be allowed to run dry.
