Our automatic submersible pumps feature a sensitive electrode that automatically detects water, switches the pump on and begins pumping the water away. The pump will then automatically shut down when the water has been pumped out. An internal timer also helps to prolong the life of the motor by stopping the pump from starting and stopping frequently. This means that these pumps can be used unattended.

These dirty water pumps are designed to be fully subermged in water, in order to pump it out and away from the area via a layflat delivery hose. They are ideal for use when draining a basement, a pool, a drain or emptying tanks.

You can book a 50mm automatic submersible pump hire online or over the phone and then either collect the water pump from your local store at the start of the hire or we can deliver to you.

Please note: Our electric automatic submersible pumps are 110v pieces of equipment. A transformer, generator or 110V site supply will be required to use it. You will need a transformer and extension lead in order to power one of these water pumps using a domestic 240v mains power supply. You can add a transformer and extension lead to your order during checkout.
