This 18v cordless SDS hammer drill is built to bore through tough, dense materials such as concrete, brickwork and steel. As it is an SDS drill, it combines the rotary motion of a standard drill with a pulsating hammering motion, which creates a more efficient and effective way of boring through tough material. This robust drill comes with an SDS+ chuck as standard, which allows SDS drill bits to hammer backwards and forwards in a piston motion. This transfers the energy much more efficiently and precisely, for faster and more effective drilling. We have SDS+ drill bits available for purchase in a range of sizes. They feature a solid carbide tip with centring point and optimised flutes, and they offer fast drilling speeds through masonry and concrete. The cordless nature of this drill allows for completely independent drilling, as it gives you the capability to work away from the mains power supply, and offers access to awkward areas that a cable may otherwise restrict. This drill has variable speed control, to suit the material you are drilling, and it is supplied with 2 batteries and a 240v charger. It also has 3 mode operation (Rotation + Hammering, Hammering Only, Rotation Only).

We have an optional 13mm three jaw chuck adaptor available as an accessory. This chuck can be fitted with standard drill bits and allows these SDS drills to operate as rotary drills, with the hammer function switched off. You can add this optional chuck to your order during checkout.

Ensure that you wear the appropriate safety equipment whilst using this drill - including eye protection and a dust mask to prevent inhaling dust, and getting debris in your eyes. Also wear protective gloves and ear defenders. We have HEPA Automatic Dust Extraction Units available (pictured above). These units fix to the drill and intercept & collect dust as you work, via an automatic start connected to the drill's on/off switch. You can add these accessories to your order during checkout.
