Description
The 5-Ton Excavator Hydraulic Grab is a heavy-duty hydraulic selector/sorting grab designed for excavators in the approximately 4–7 tonne class, with 5 tonnes as the nominal carrier size.
The attachment is designed for controlled gripping, handling, sorting and positioning of materials.

The grab can be supplied as either:
- Fixed hydraulic grab
- 360° hydraulic rotating grab
A fixed grab generally requires only one double-acting hydraulic circuit. A rotating model requires an additional hydraulic circuit, or a suitable diverter arrangement. This is consistent with current commercial grab designs.
