Spider lifts are specialised mechanical access platforms. You use them for completing all kinds of jobs at height, and they reduce the risk of a fall during both indoor and outdoor use, as there are diesel and electric models available. They allow operators to reach extreme heights and awkward, confined spaces. They are ideal for construction, inspection, installation, decoration, maintenance, repair, film production, landscaping, and more.
As spider boom lifts have extendable, caterpillar type crawler tracks instead of wheels, you can drive them in confined spaces and hard-to-reach areas. The tracks provide excellent grip on the ground and adapt to all kinds of terrain conditions. Their stabilisers, or legs, are incredibly versatile, as they are able to extend and you can ground them at all different levels. These outriggers offer complete safety and stability during operations at a height even when the surface is uneven or rugged.
From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
