    Ideal for Sanding & Polishing

    Random orbital sanders are ideal for refinishing a range of wooden surfaces. They are suitable for trade and DIY, for sanding wood, metal, plastic, and polishing finishing coats. Random orbit sanders utilise a dual action that simultaneously spins and vibrates a round sanding disk while moving it in an unpredictable elliptical motion. The pads oscillate off-centre using a ball-bearing mechanism. This action allows random orbital sanders to remove more material from surfaces without creating a distinct pattern.

    These electric random orbit sanders are extremely compact and lightweight. They also have ergonomic soft grips, making them comfortable to handle and easy to control. These sanders have 123mm sanding pads that perform 12000 orbits per minute. The high-powered motors deliver constant speed under load for heavy-duty applications. These 240v random orbital sanders are versatile, compatible with hook and loop type paper, and featuring an integrated dust collection system.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.

If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.

YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.

If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.

An insurance charge will be calculated at checkout. If you have proof of your own Hired-In Plant Insurance (HIPI) and wish to opt-out of the insurance charge, you can do so by booking via Live Chat.

This product requires a £0.00 refundable deposit. This deposit is used to cover any excess that you might need to pay if the equipment is damaged during the hire period.

If a charge for fuel is not included. We supply the machine with a full tank, and we will charge you for the amount you have used at the end of the hire, which will be deducted from your deposit. If you refuel the tank, there will be no additional costs.

Deposits are refundable once the product is returned and checked by our partner. Any damages or cleaning charges will be deducted from the deposit.
