These 105mm battery-operated cable cutting tools are capable of cutting copper and aluminium cables with lightweight steel armouring up to a maximum diameter of 105mm. This compatibility with such a broad range of cable sizes makes these tools ideal for professional tradespeople working on large electrical installations. These cable cutters weigh just 10.7kg and have optimised weight distribution and a balanced centre of gravity, so they are easy to handle on large scale jobs.
These cable cutting tools are easy to transport to jobs and are suitable for fast-paced environments. The closed cutting head is rotatable so you can insert wires from awkward angles more easily. The head also has a flip-top closure that securely holds cables during cutting. Once cables are inserted, a one-button operating concept controls all of the available functions for exceptional ease of use - the 2-stage hydraulic system performs the cutting capacity and there are also fast feed and power stroke functions. Additionally, there is electronic control and monitoring during operation, and there is also a tool and task evaluation available using the optical interface and USB-adapter. There is a quick motor stop for user safety and an in-built LED for workspace lighting for added practicality. The high-performance motor provides maximum operating speed and an energy saving feature that stops the motor after successfully cutting any inserted cable. These products are heavy-duty tools with a robust 2-component housing that offers durability and reliability in fast-paced, challenging environments.
