These 50mm cable cutters are capable of cutting copper and aluminium cables with lightweight steel armouring. These cable cutters are suitable for wires up to a maximum diameter of 50mm, so they are ideal for residential and commercial electrical work. These handheld tools have been designed with optimised weight distribution and a balanced centre of gravity, so they are incredibly easy to handle during on-site use. The closed cutting head has a flip-top closure that securely holds cables during cutting. The head is also rotatable, which allows you to insert wires from awkward angles more easily. The cutting function is performed by the 2-stage hydraulic system which features a fast feed and power stroke functions.
This modern cable cutter features electronic control and monitoring during operation, and there is also a tool and task evaluation available using the optical interface and USB-adapter. There is a quick motor stop for user safety and an in-built LED for workspace lighting for added practicality. The high-performance motor provides maximum operating speed and an energy saving feature that stops the motor after successfully cutting any inserted cable.
