Our sanding equipment includes a range of power tools for work on site or DIY jobs at home. We have floor sanders and edging sanders for sanding and stripping wooden floors, including parquet & mixed-width flooring, giving you a smooth surface for finishing with varnish, stains, wax, shellac, or paint. These machines are ideal for building renovation and redecoration.

What is the best sander for sanding a floor?
Your best option is the floor and edging sander package, this includes an electric drum sander for the main part of your floor and an edging sander to get close to the skirting board.
How long does it take to sand a floor?
If you're using both the floor sander and edge sander on a 140 square-foot space, it will take roughly 5 hours to complete three sanding passes.
Can I sand my own floors?
Sanding your floors can be time consuming, but it is a relatively easy procedure. Doing it yourself can save you a lot of money compared to getting a professional in to do it for you.

Are floorboards worth sanding?
Absolutely, yes. Sanding floorboards yourself is a great way to save some money if you're confident enough to do so.
From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
