This 110v Electro fusion box is designed specifically for automatic connection of PPR electro-fusion fittings. This Electro-fusion unit uses produces a constant electrical current, which flows through the embedded heater wires within the sleeve fitting, which is placed around the two pipes. The extreme heat and pressure produced during welding makes simple, reliable, rigid joints between pipes. As the Electro-fusion box flows the current through the wires, the fitting shrinks around the two pipes, producing a tight, reliable joint between the pipes. The shrinking process does not alter the internal bore of the joint because the ends and the centre of the fitting are deliberately kept cold during the welding process. This ensures a strong, reliable professional joint.
